Does Medicaid provide any type of dental coverage?
Is there any adult Medicaid that covers dental care or any govt. programs that do offer dental care?
Thank you for your help. By the way, for reference, we live currently in Utah.

call your local hospitals, atleast one in the area should have a unit for dental and oral surgeries…they cannot refuse your care excellent luck
I DONT REALLY RECKON THIER IS.NO MEDICAID DONT PAY UNLESS YOUR UNDER THE AGE 18.
Dental care through Medicaid is very limited and any procedure considered as being for “cosmetic” will not be covered. Unfortunately, both the government and most Insurance companies feel that for the most part dental services are not life threatening and therefore not justified as rational insurance claims. You have three possibilities to pursue: (1) If there is a Dental College near by call the schools “Out Patient Clinic”. They provide dental services for fees ranging from Free to very low cost, depending on your financial situation. (2)..If any hospital in your area had a Dental Internship Program, they too provide free to low cost dental services. (3) Now, depending on your age, health and financial status, your state Department Of Health Services should have the ability to provide some of the services you need, Call them to find out if and how you can qualify….Excellent luck and I wish you well.
Consider contacting your local dental society. They should be able to direct you to dentists that treat low income or provide sliding scale services. If you don’t know where your local dental society is, contact the American Dental Association.
When I was in college I needed alot of dental work but could not afford insurance. I did some research and found this plot.

I signed up with them online about 3 years ago now. They are very affordable, had my benefits active in 2 hours and saved me literally thousands of dollars. I know for a fact that all services are included ex: Including cleanings, exams, x-rays ..etc. Check to see if its availible in your area.
Excellent Luck and Hope this Helps.
